I also don't get to paint my nails too often, unless i have a few days off because I work in a deli. So I'll have to take this off in a couple days but oh well.<br />
<br />
I started with a base of Joe - Iris, then sponged on some Joe - Ink, and finished it off with a bit of sponging on the very tip in Creative - Silver Anniversary. I quite liked how this turned out. And I for once managed not to chip any of them right after doing them. =)<br />

A friend of mine had suggested I made peanut butter muffins. Which I had never heard of before, so I went in search of a recipe and found one for Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins. There was a typo in the recipe which caused me to have 3 times as much peanut butter than was necessary. The resulting muffins, were not very muffin like, and the batter was very fluffy.<br />

One of the first hints that the recipe was wrong, was that I had way more batter than was needed for 12 muffins, which is what the recipe was supposed to make. They also didn't rise at all. After making the first dozen I popped the batter in the fridge, and commented on the post where I found the<a href="http://theconfusedhomemaker.com/2012/01/10/peanut-butter-chocolate-chip-muffins/"> recipe</a>. Once I heard back, I found out that there was indeed a typo. After asking my mom for some advice to improve the batter that I already had I made some changes. I added another egg, a little bit of water, and about half tsp of baking soda, which resulted in a much improved muffin.<br />

I think I finally found it! (happy dance). I found it on <a href="http://www.fortheloveofcooking.net/">Fortheloveofcooking.net</a> via a google search. The <a href="http://d1307624.t196.myhsphere.cc/2011/04/soft-gingersnap-cookies-with-white-chocolate-chips.html">recipe</a> has white chocolate chips in it, but they could easy be left out. The recipe made 2 dozen cookies (ice cream scoop size), so next time I'm gonna try doubling it without the white chocolate chips.<br />

I bought 2 boxes this past year and kept one in the fridge. Hence why i made cookies with Christmas candy in September. Wow that's almost 10 months later I just realized, but oh well. They come with a recipe inside the box that I wanted to try. They were very good, only problem is I ate them too fast, especially since they are so small. *<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-small;">this has been post dated.</span><br />

So I decided to make my own pizza, with a white cheese sauce and chicken (not a fan of ham or pepperoni either). I found a really easy recipe for a crust, that you only need to let sit for 5 minutes. No waiting for it to rise. And then I added a white cheese sauce that's actually for pasta but very good on pizza. Finally, I added pieces of cooked chicken, green onions, shredded cheese(mozzarella or cheddar, or both), and parmesan.<br />

I'm so glad I did 'cause they are awesome. So awesome that I've made them 3 times now. (as of Jan '12)<br />

I used Joe in White as a base colour. For the marble I used Joe in White, Joe in Jet, and Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Fuchsia Power. (at least I think that's the pink I used)<br />

I only ate a couple of the cookies because I couldn't get over the raisins. Minus the raisins they are super tasty especially with the slight cinnamon flavour. I'm not a fan of raisins baked in stuff though. I only like them plain, or dipped in chocolate.<br />

I had fish(basa) in the freezer that had been there for quite some time, so decided to make that. I found a basic recipe for fish batter on <a href="http://allrecipes.com/">All Recipes.com</a>. 1 part milk, and 1 part milk or water. Then I just added some basil, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgamkXpi2ChNvKKHm9kW3KcEvW2Ub-HGJLa-FeoJWk7Oj0DjGtUv7uRgdE4WeERDmbi6gfA-AFfrmFiVNLcBCb-h6xrNkDoO24b8Wf1HMjkYgco46iBww3Si0wFp5K8aOVGNMsUMbl36Jwd/s1600/fish.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgamkXpi2ChNvKKHm9kW3KcEvW2Ub-HGJLa-FeoJWk7Oj0DjGtUv7uRgdE4WeERDmbi6gfA-AFfrmFiVNLcBCb-h6xrNkDoO24b8Wf1HMjkYgco46iBww3Si0wFp5K8aOVGNMsUMbl36Jwd/s1600/fish.jpg" /></a></div><br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I also made some simple herb spaghetti to go with it. Another recipe I found at <a href="http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/spaghetti-with-garlic-herbs-and-tomatoes/detail.aspx">AllRecipes.com</a>, and modified a little bit to my own tastes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimoXCQTE1tYmCq5sjsaQy5f2He_uv_pvGs1EYLYCfsrg7n8g0XxJozIXtZU9hjoXs9nBDtwd11j5qh19sJyPFGfIhNOTXdWdDvV6k0_P_dx70KOIszcIPO9M_NeHSn3ZiR2LoUt5_nEeDT/s1600/spaghetti.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimoXCQTE1tYmCq5sjsaQy5f2He_uv_pvGs1EYLYCfsrg7n8g0XxJozIXtZU9hjoXs9nBDtwd11j5qh19sJyPFGfIhNOTXdWdDvV6k0_P_dx70KOIszcIPO9M_NeHSn3ZiR2LoUt5_nEeDT/s1600/spaghetti.jpg" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Recipe:<br />
1/4 pound uncooked pasta<br />
<br />
1/4 cup butter<br />
2-3 gloves garlic, minced<br />
1/2 Tbsp basil<br />
1 tsp thyme<br />
1/3 tbsp parsley<br />
salt and pepper to taste<br />
<br />
Melt butter. Add herbs and stir. Mix into spaghetti.<br />
<br />
The simple herbs of the spaghetti tasted very good with the fish.<br />

This time I made banana chocolate chip muffins, one of my favourite flavours of muffins =]. I ran out of muffin liners, which resulted in having to spread butter on the remaining holes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCXCEXMkT4jHOIPEgxsqe30ME93lDLBPODjlglypz9-K_RU72MgtXE92Qqnb6tO5iA8aqA5fZlRJzN-FJKKXAaVlLeoxG3Ff01wOYZh9T5sKLtyvkfVmLgfWzwY4KAHYFyRN1N1iQFhLH4/s1600/101_0116.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCXCEXMkT4jHOIPEgxsqe30ME93lDLBPODjlglypz9-K_RU72MgtXE92Qqnb6tO5iA8aqA5fZlRJzN-FJKKXAaVlLeoxG3Ff01wOYZh9T5sKLtyvkfVmLgfWzwY4KAHYFyRN1N1iQFhLH4/s640/101_0116.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br />
The batter was also a lot thicker than I was expecting it to be. Almost like dough, but they turned out excellent =].<br />

I didn't fill all the cups evenly so I got a whole bunch of random sized muffins, but all very tasty.<br />

I used the recipe that comes on the box, and then I added chocolate on top. I was wanting to kind of drizzle it on, but it wasn't liquidy(i don't think that's a work but oh well) enough. So I ended up spreading it around, which didn't look the prettiest, but its the taste that matters.<br />

I searched the net for some good popsicle recipes and found one for fudgesicles on Food.com that I decided to try out.<br />
<br />
Here is the recipe:<br />
<br />
<b>Ingredients</b><br />
1/2 cup sugar<br />
2tbsp corn starch (I used potato starch since thats what I had)<br />
2tbsp cocoa<br />
2/12 cups milk<br />
1tsp vanilla<br />
1tbsp butter<br />
<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, clean, sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 22px;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b>Directions</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAQONTXn7Btu8zLFKtQgVV6yN7vIxmGPKyDhmsjsrb3isQ2y69hWLSrLrhyphenhyphen2_iGeKYbsfZld5KQVhf2KSiHrhqROAPaNFfDEfbM__HXJgoW4Y_H-niVgtqfgabNtCbQCFyGsIBoGGPNWPQ/s1600/fudgesicles.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAQONTXn7Btu8zLFKtQgVV6yN7vIxmGPKyDhmsjsrb3isQ2y69hWLSrLrhyphenhyphen2_iGeKYbsfZld5KQVhf2KSiHrhqROAPaNFfDEfbM__HXJgoW4Y_H-niVgtqfgabNtCbQCFyGsIBoGGPNWPQ/s1600/fudgesicles.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">On medium heat combine sugar, potato starch, cocoa, and milk. Keep stirring till the cocoa is dissolved, and the mixture is slightly thick. Remove pot from heat, and add vanilla & butter, and stir till combined.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQJqF4c4rqunBYM7d89tpBFherXEWrFuqU8_5DrlrtRnYBKRKTwkEhb8thTIVWSgoZmZ_lFDLUVF0A_vXg4H-33UPaNkhHOj_alseu2ZIrS8emcfFf8Y7O5-1P4jM1Ob-8CDKPlyuhQR70/s1600/fudgesicles2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQJqF4c4rqunBYM7d89tpBFherXEWrFuqU8_5DrlrtRnYBKRKTwkEhb8thTIVWSgoZmZ_lFDLUVF0A_vXg4H-33UPaNkhHOj_alseu2ZIrS8emcfFf8Y7O5-1P4jM1Ob-8CDKPlyuhQR70/s1600/fudgesicles2.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I poured the mixture from the pot to a measuring cup, so it would be easier to pour into the molds. There was about 2 3/4 cups of liquid which filled my mold with just a tiny bit of extra. Place them in the freezer overnight. To remove them from the molds, I run it under hot water, to melt the outer edge just enough to pull one out.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
